On February 11th, Internet Marketing Inc. CEO Brent Gleeson gave a seminar to business owners about how to improve marketing impact during poor economic conditions. The two hour session was designed to educate CEO’s about Internet marketing strategies such as organic search engines optimization, pay per click advertising, social media marketing, email marketing, online media buying, conversion optimization, online reputation management, and how to use analytics to measure success.
One of the key elements to Gleeson’s the presentation was a six step process for improving online marketing and increasing ROI in 2009. The process involves analyzing the online competition, setting specific business goals, determining the appropriate budgets, choosing the Internet marketing channels that best fit the model, preparing the foundation of the campaign, and implementing the campaign. Gleeson emphasized the importance of coordinating all offline and online media strategies to ensure a consistent message is reaching the target audience and the best possible ROI is being achieved.
