SAN DIEGO, December 13, 2016 – IMI was honored with PR Daily’s 2016 Content Marketing Award Grand Prize for Best Overall Content Marketing Strategy for their work with Constellation, a leading energy company.

As a global award and with over 30 categories including campaigns, infographics, mobile, product launches, social, and print, PR Daily aims to highlight the best of the best in the marketing and advertising community.
IMI and Constellation teamed up to bring awareness to Constellation by increasing traffic, growing engagement on social media and introducing a new audience with huge buying power – millennials. An industry analysis provided IMI with the data they needed to produce the right content that answered consumers’ questions, specifically first-time home buyers and customers wanting to educate themselves on cost-saving techniques.
The multi-channel campaign launched with an infographic called The Habits of Home, giving the consumer a visually appealing way to understand where energy is used in the home and ways to save. That was followed by a fun and educational Energy Life Hacks image series. The images contained bite-sized energy saving tips that were easy to consume and share on social media.

The strong relationship between IMI and Constellation allowed the teams to increase traffic to Constellation’s site by improving SEO, building a solid foundation to grow engagement and gain influence through appropriate distribution channels, and boosting market share.
