Whenever I read a companys’ Facebook news feed or Twitter feed, I usually see the same messages posted on both platforms. Hardly do I ever see different messages on each platform. It makes me question, what’s the use of following a companys’ multiple social media accounts, if I can join just one and get all of the same content.
Many companies follow this ‘social media strategy” and for the most part, it is effective and recommended. However, Internet marketers should help companies take this strategy to the next level by encouraging followers to join all of a company’s social media accounts, not only one or two accounts. Doing so will help easily and quickly increase social media followers across all platforms, and will give a company more opportunities to communicate with its target market.
