Brent Gleeson, Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer
Navy SEAL combat veteran Brent Gleeson is a serial entrepreneur that is passionate about leadership, building companies, and fostering positive change in his community and beyond. As Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Internet Marketing Inc. (IMI) it is Mr. Gleeson’s primary focus to oversee brand development, marketing strategies, and thought leadership. As Co-Founder and one of the primary owners, Brent also leads strategic planning initiatives and recruitment. Internet Marketing Inc. is currently one of the fastest growing integrated digital marketing agencies in the country and is headquartered in San Diego, CA. IMI also has offices in Las Vegas and New York.

As the CMO of an expert digital marketing agency, Gleeson also leads IMI’s team of Thought Leaders in scheduling speaking engagements at trade shows, putting on educational seminars and webinars, and creating great content for the company’s vast audience. During 2012 IMI presented at SES 2012 San Francisco, OMS 2012 Santa Clara, as well as to many Vistage CEO groups.

He is an accredited and certified speaker for Vistage International, the largest CEO organization in the world, and also speaks to MBA classes and other CEO groups. Brent also performs many keynote speaker presentations at various business and charity events.
Gleeson is also a regular contributor to Forbes, Inc, CMO.com, The Agency Post, Direct Marketing News, and Entrepreneur. He writes about digital marketing strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
In the past, Gleeson has also co-founded international real estate marketing companies that have achieved enormous success. His first venture, co-founded with Brandon Fishman, is still in operation and one of the most highly trafficked real estate search engines is NewCondosOnline.com. The site provides real estate marketers a platform for advertising their new condo and home developments and gives home buyers a resource for finding new homes.
Gleeson spent almost five years in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL. During his service he completed combat deployments to Iraq and Africa in support of the War on Terror. His team’s primary objective was running capture or kill missions working in conjunction with the CIA. Gleeson stays closely connected to the SEAL community by mentoring and training young aspiring SEALs and raising money for the Navy SEAL Foundation.
How All This Came to Be
Brent grew up in Dallas Texas attending private school for his entire educational path. He attended the Episcopal School of Dallas, Jesuit College Preporatory School of Dallas, and earned his undergraduate degree at Southern Methodist University where he played rugby and was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.
Upon graduating, Brent accepted a job as a financial analyst with Trammell Crow Company. During this time he had started training with a fraternity brother that was a year behind him in school. His friend was planning to join the Navy and try out for the SEAL program. One of Brent’s other close friends had already joined the Navy as an intel officer. Being surrounded by close friends who were set out to serve their country gave him reason to give this some serious consideration. Gleeson started training even harder and eventually quit his job and moved to Crested Butte, CO to train at high altitude for three months. He had decide to make a major life change and try out for the SEAL program. In 2000, Brent enlisted in the Navy and joined BUD/s Class 235. About 250 men started in the class and 23 of the original class members graduated. Upon graduating BUD/s Brent then completed another five months of advanced training then joined SEAL Team 5.
Brent has made various TV appearances including CNBC’s World Business Review with General Norman Schwarzkopf, Discovery Channel’s One Many Army, and most recently NBC’s reality extravaganza Stars Earn Stripes. Brent has also appeared on local news channels around the country including Fox News, NBC and CBS.

Philanthropy & Community Involvement
Gleeson is involved in his community, his church, and charitable organizations such as the Navy SEAL Foundation which provides support to the families of fallen SEALs as well as those injured or disabled in service to this great nation.
Gleeson earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from Southern Methodist University, studied at Oxford University in England, and earned master degree in real estate finance and development from the University of San Diego.

Outside of work and community involvement, Brent enjoys spending time with his six year old son, running, swimming, racing in triathalons, boating, cooking, reading, and skydiving.
